Added a "What am I listening to" item to my homepage, complete with album cover (if available). This gets updated automatically (live) from WinAmp (via Do Something and some custom scripts) and I'm tracking the history, so I'll be able to have a page listing my recent listening habits (once I get a chance to code it).

Finally got so sick of my old web site design (click here to restore the new design) that I forced myself to sit down and design a new one ahead of schedule (well, actually, I skipped making one for 2003, so I'm about 9 months BEHIND schedule). I quite like it, at least for now :-) As always when I implement a new skin, there will be glitches - if you notice anything annoying, please let me know.

Rewrote my Contact page to use the web gateway when paging, only using the email gateway if the web fails. Much quicker (pages arrive on my phone before your "success" page finishes loading) and easier to tell if it fails (instant feedback).

FINALLY completed the Sinfest search engine upgrade! It works now! ;-) And it's running on a PostgreSQL backend, so it's fast. I've added a ton of new features. Check it out!

Wrote a modular app for the right sidebar so that instead of simply displaying the latest What's New item it now randomly displays various tidbits from the site. Currently I have modules written for What's New, Links, Movies, and Current Events.

Rewrote the Links Section so that it's now (finally) database driven. Also wrote myself a little admin app that allows me to add a link with the click of a mouse, so hopefully there will be more interesting things in there then there have been lately.

Finally finished (and activated) my site design for 2002! (Yay!) I quite like it, especially since I was getting really tired of the 2001 design. This one looks a little more modern. If you have JavaScript enabled you'll see a clock in the top right showing my local time. Large photo on the left changes every hour. Comments?

Rewrote the Contact Me section. Now includes a front page that tries to offer advice on the best way to contact me, taking into account my last reported location, current time, and my last connection time. Also added Instant Messaging section and rewrote the 'email contact info' code.

Fixed a bug in the authentication functions that allowed some users to access restricted areas without the correct password. If you are getting errors now that you weren't before, make sure your password is correct or ask me to reset it.
