The story of the OJ Simpson trial. Pretty well done for a TV movie, and interesting to watch what (may have) gone on behind the scenes. Very well made movie. The first time I watched it I found it quite disturbing, partially due to the spooky soundtrack. Well worth the time to watch. NULL What would happen if instead of a little boy, ET was found by Bill and Ted? (Make no mistake, this is a B movie, but for a B movie it's pretty funny) Wow! Great flick! I was expecting it to be another Rah Rah America movie, but it could have been any country in that position. They didn't hype it. And it turned out really really good. Lots of great action, suspense, and fun. Go see! Strange movie. Interesting. Strange. Great vampire flick. Can't wait to see Blade II Cool dancing. Bad acting, scripting, etc. But we're watching it for the dancing, right? Very well done. Well worth a rental. None of that black and white cheating is right or wrong. Very realistic. Wierd movie, but some funny parts in it and worth a watch. Life in a small town. It had it's moments... Slow in parts, but a classic Robin Williams movie. Standard Arnold movie. Not bad, not great. Ghostbusters with aliens! :-) Scent of a Woman with books. But very well done. Actually a pretty good movie. Sort of a sweet comedy with some good laughs. A Misery style movie where nutty people kidnap a woman and force her to have a baby because they are unable to. Good acting and lots of suspense. I can't really say anything bad about this movie (other than a few times when you're screaming at the character "DO THAT DO THAT!") except that there is so much tension that some way is needed to vent it. Most movies use comedy to break those periods. This movie has no comedy, so that outlet isn't there... Not nearly as good as the first one, and the sfx are really bad, but it does have a few funny moments... Saw it again for the first time in a long time. This is a good movie. I mean, the sfx are very basic - stop action animation - no computer sfx, but the storyline is well written and well acted and some funny parts throughout. One of the better "I'm not gay! Really!" movies. Actually really well written and funny, with good performances from the actors. The three main characters are excellently cast. You really believe they're lifelong friends. Not a bad "group of friends stuck in a house being stalked by a killer" movie. The people do a few intelligent things (other than the "let me go alone and do something" routine). A romance movie I don't mind seeing many times. It's sweet, funny, and magical. Horrible horrible movie. One of the worst I've ever seen. Avoid at all costs. Excellent Disney movie. Probably the best since Toy Story 1. Great writting, a pretty original plot (so far as Disney movies go), some fun scenes and lots of laughs. Even the non-funny scenes (ie: the 'feel good' scenes) in this movie were much better done than other Disney flicks. And the ending is sweet but not sappy. All in all, nicely done. Standard cheesy romance, but some funny parts. A Jim Carry classic. Not his best, but a good one... At least as good as the first one (which was great) and possibly better. Pretty decent plot and some really funny lines. And really really good sfx. The talking dog bit has reached the point where it's looking real to me, and I'm usually very picky about that. Every talking animal occurrence has looked fake to me up until now. Worth a watch, go see! The director adds the visual style he used from Romeo and Juliet (which I liked) and improves on it by a much enhanced sound layer. The camera shots and sound together provide a very unique movie, but a little disappointingly he encounters the same pitfall as R+J and cannot sustain the action throughout the film. While you get addicted to this filmmaking style very quickly (after about 30 seconds) within about 30 minutes the pace has slowed down considerably. This does not by any means make it a bad film. It's very well done. I would just like to see fewer (and smaller) contrasts between the fast paced scenes and the very slow joining scenes. Excellent acting and writing. Good movie! I'm not really into hockey and it was still a good movie. With a cast like this there is no reason not to hire someone to write an original story. There are a dozen movies EXACTLY like this one, only with lesser known actors. Not bad. Pretty good shot at converting the famous cartoon into a live action movie. A bit slow in parts and there's almost no character introduction, so you have to be familier with the cartoon I think before you will enjoy (or even make sense of) this movie. This movie rocks. It just does. Watch it. Terrible terrible acting by some of the cast (most notably Dennis Rodman), but some witty writing. Terrible special effects. If you liked X-Men, you'll like Spider-man. Very true to the spider-man "legend" and amazing sfx / action scenes. They really captured the feeling of being Spider-man in this movie. A few minor complaints, but nothing noteworthy. Overall a very good movie. Finally! This is what Episode 1 should have been like. Damn good movie. It seems movie people do learn from their mistakes (at least a few of them). Much of the silliness that was in Ep. 1 has been removed and replaced with good storytelling, good humour, and great action. Special effects have been greatly upgraded from the first one as well. Good acting by all members of the cast. This is a definite keeper. (I loved so many aspects of this movie as a Star Wars fan. There are a few great twists in the story line, including one with the title. "Attack of the Clones" doesn't necessarily mean what you think it means...) Meh. William Hurt turns up in the strangest places. Not a bad movie about the medical system and how it works. Does a good job of keeping you guessing what's really happening. Excellent acting, great performances by an excellent cast. Interesting involving story, although slightly slow in parts it's well worth a watch. NULL NULL Not a bad B-Movie. I swear the bad guy is the spitting image of a friend of mine... Non-original formula Disney movie. Excellent movie. I think I'm going to have to start reading Tom Clancy books. Hopefully they'll make more of his novels into movies, and hopefully keep the same killer combination of cast, director, etc. Almost all levels of this movie were superbly executed. Great acting, excellent story, great special effects. And my usual comment of "very realistic" doesn't even begin to cover it. Go see this... It's a b movie, but does a great job of keeping the suspense going throughout the movie without overdoing it and causing burnout. Heck, even Meat Loaf did a decent acting job... This movie had so much potential. And so many hopes after The Sixth Sense. But what is really turns out to be is a 30 minute episode of the Outer Limits or the Twilight Zone that's been stretched into a 2.5 hour long movie. Yes, the director uses funky camera shots. But this alone doesn't make it a good movie. In fact, some of them are quite obviously him looking for anything other than a normal shot, and don't enhance the scene in any way. Good acting on most accounts, but there just isn't that much there for the actors to work with. The director says "Ok, this scene has to take up 5 minutes, so speak really slowly with lots of pauses" and they do. Plot line is original, story could have been really good. But he just couldn't pull it off. Better luck next time... I've seen this movie I don't know how many times and it's still funny :-)
